AUSTIN – Members of the Champion swim and dive team turned in a historic performance at last weekend’s 5A state meet in Austin.
It didn’t take the Boerne High girls long to turn Friday’s second-round playoff game against Sweeny into a blowout.
The Boerne High girls closed out the first round of district soccer Friday on the road at Bandera and put the bite on the Lady Bulldogs.
The Geneva School of Boerne girls soccer team hosted TMI – Episcopal on Thursday and the Eagles won its eighth match in a row, defeating the Lady Panthers, 7-0.
The Boerne Champion girls soccer team opened the second round of district play on Friday at home by hosting New Braunfels Canyon and the results were the same as their first-round meeting.
Boerne Champion’s Ryan Brandon signed a national letter of intent to play football at Colorado School of Mines.
The basketball playoffs begin this week for some and continue this week for other area teams.
The track and field season, along with the baseball season, is underway this spring.
