Linda Ann (Taylor) Bohman

Linda Ann (Taylor) Bohman

December 10, 1942 – February 20, 2022

Linda Ann (Taylor) Bohman, 79, our loving mom, grandma and friend, peacefully passed from this life surrounded by her family on February 20, 2022.  Linda was born on December 10, 1942, to the late Alfred Samuel Taylor and Adah Muzetta Sessions. She is the second-oldest of 10 siblings.

Linda met her sweetheart, D. Frank Bohman of Peterson, Utah, in a ballroom dance class while attending Weber State University. Frank was a confident dancer and Linda was his perfect partner. They were married in the LDS Logan Temple on Aug 12, 1965, for time and all eternity.

After Frank graduated from college and became a certified public accountant, they moved to Glendale, California, where they started their family. Other jobs took them to Roy, Utah; Sheridan, Wyoming; Phoenix, Arizona; Buhl, Idaho; and finally to San Antonio, Texas, where they have lived since 1982. Together, they created a fun and loving home for their sons and a place where friends and family could gather.

Linda loved being a full-time mom and then grandma and teaching youth and children throughout her life. She served many years as a Cub Scout leader and as a leader of young women’s groups in her church. In addition to teaching life and survival skills, she was known and loved for her youthful, playful activities. Whether it was a water fight, Nerf gun war or late-night toilet paper decorating activities, you could always find her actively participating and holding her own. She also owned her very own Super Soaker with a backpack water reservoir.

Linda loved and had incredible faith in her savior, Jesus Christ, and was a life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; parents; brother Don; son Daniel; and stillborn son Darren. She is survived by sons Dale (Jae), David (Amy) and Stephen (Heather); 13 grandchildren, Tanner (Kayla), Coty, Tucker (Rachel), Lane, Tyler, Ashley, Spencer, Alyssa, Arianna, Wilson, Carter, Daniel J. and Benjamin; six great-grandchildren; brothers Bill, Scott, Mike and Don; and sisters Debbie, Patti, Trudy and Marcia.

A viewing for family and friends will take place on Friday, February 25, 2022, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home. A celebration of Linda’s life will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 10 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 203 Stonegate St., Boerne, Texas 78006.
