Baseball, track seasons underway

The track and field season, along with the baseball season, is underway this spring.

The BHS baseball team opens its season Tuesday at Cornerstone, 6 p.m., and then plays in the Somerset Tournament this coming weekend.

The Charger hardball squad plays Stevens at Northside on Thursday in the NISD Tournament that continues through the weekend.

Comfort and Geneva baseball and track teams will also get underway this season.

Champion opened its track and field season last week at the Northside meet, while the Greyhounds were scheduled to be at a tri-meet in Hondo last week and then will help to co-host the Charger Relays on Feb. 26 and the Greyhound Relays on March 3.
