The Boerne High girls closed out the first round of district soccer Friday on the road at Bandera and put the bite on the Lady Bulldogs.
The Lady Greyhounds won, 8-1, and improved to 10-3-4 overall and 3-1-2 in district. BHS is off Tuesday and opens the second round Friday at Fredericksburg, a team they tied in the first round.
Hannah Bowen finished with a hat trick and tallied 3 goals, while Kylie Combs added 2 goals, Madeline Davis, Gigi Hernandez and Kassie Lozano all netted single goals.
Hernandez also had a hat trick in the assists department and recorded 3 assists, while A’Marie Ramirez had one assist.
