The Boerne Kendall County Economic Development Corporation recently made a $75,000 donation toward the launch of Das GreenHaus, the first business incubator in Kendall County scheduled to open in early 2023. The $75,000 investment in the project signifies the commitment the BKCEDC has made to assist with the establishment of Das GreenHaus, information in a press release stated.

Summer camp
Summer camp

Boy Scout Troop 102, sponsored by First United Methodist Church, just returned from summer camp at Camp Constantin located on Possum Kingdom Lake, west of Mineral Wells. Some 700 Scouts from all over Texas were in attendance for the week-long camp, including 27 Scouts and nine adults from Boerne’s Troop 102. Scouts worked on merit badges in kayaking, small boat sailing, motor boating, archery, geocaching, shotgun shooting, welding and more. Submitted photo

We lost our very sweet angel, LaNell Mangold Day, at the age of 61 on June 13, 2022, after a long battle with multiple myeloma cancer. LaNell was born on September 10, 1960, in San Antonio, Texas, to Deacon Clayton A. Mangold and Macell E. Mangold. On April 26, 1986, she married Brad Day, and they had a fantastic 36 years of marriage together. They raised two amazing sons, Nathan and Brandon.
