It was a long drive that turned into a short game for the Geneva School of Boerne softball team on Friday.
Boerne Champion split its last two softball games and lost a tough one to Seguin, 8-7, and then bounced back to whip Wagner, 10-0.
The Boerne High baseball team closed out the week with another run-rule victory over Bandera on Friday. The Hounds beat the Bulldogs 12-0 after defeating them on Wednesday, 14-0.
