New chief of technology officer named at Boerne ISD

The Boerne Independent School District has announced that Sean Babcock has been named Chief Technology Officer. Babcock’s appointment was approved by the Board of Trustees at a special meeting on April 3rd.

Mr. Babcock joins Boerne ISD after spending 23 years in Corpus Christi ISD, where he focused on creating a strong and secure infrastructure in which every student has access to a broad spectrum of technology.

Boerne ISD Superintendent Dr. Thomas Price said, “We are thrilled to welcome Sean to Boerne ISD as Chief Technology Officer. His vast experience and knowledge is quite impressive, and he will make a great addition to our community.”
