Boerne Champion won a pair of district basketball games last week, topping Lehman on Friday and beating Veterans Memorial on Tuesday.

Boerne Champion closed out a tough week in girls soccer after the Lady Chargers suffered two district losses.

The Comfort girls basketball team dropped its last two district games held last week. The Deer were tripped up by Blanco on Tuesday and by district front-runner Lago Vista on Friday.

Comfort High traveled to Lago Vista on Friday and suffered a 50-24 loss to the Vikings.

Knockout (KO) Cheer is an All-Star Cheerleading gym in Boerne and recently won six First Place Championships and two overall High Point Grand Champion awards at the Cheer America Competition that took place in San Antonio on Jan. 23. KO has been training cheerleaders since 2012 in Boerne and has eight competitive teams and classes for ages 3-19.

All the area basketball teams were in action Tuesday night.
