The Comfort girls basketball team ended the first round of District 25-3A play on Friday and throttled Ingram in the process, 54-8.
With the win, the Deer are 2-2 in district and 12-14 overall. They host Blanco on Tuesday to start the second round of league play.
Comfort was leading at the end of the first quarter, 11-2, and then outscored the Lady Warriors in the second, 11-4, for the 22-6 halftime lead.
Ingram only tallied 2 more points in the second half and made one free throw in each of the final two quarters, while the Deer scored 10 in the third and finished strong with 22 in the fourth period.
Kallie Doss led all scorers with 12 points and Ashlynn Rodriguez was also in double figures with 10 points. Daniela Hernandez netted 8, Madalynn Rodriguez tallied 5, while Katie Haffner, Erin Alt, Bailey Feldman and Meghan Davis all chipped in with 4 and Emily Rivera had 3.
Davis grabbed 8 boards, Feldman snagged 7 rebounds and 4 steals, Doss came up with 3 steals and Hernandez dished out 5 assists.
