Boerne Champion played in the shortened NEISD Softball Tournament last week and only played two games, but the good news is that the Chargers won both of them.

Boerne Champion opened its 2022 baseball season by playing in the Northside ISD tournament.

The Boerne High baseball team picked up three shutout wins at the abbreviated Somerset tourney last week.

Both the Boerne Champion varsity soccer teams took on Dripping Springs in district action last week and lost to the Tigers on Friday.

Boerne High locked horns with the Battlin’ Billies to kick off the second round of district soccer last Friday. The Lady Greyhounds were on the road and the BHS boys were at home and both Boerne teams came up with victories.

The Boerne Police Department had its new top-tier leaders take office Friday as both Chief Steve Perez and Assistant Chief Cody Lackey were officially sworn into their new roles.

The Rainbow Senior Center at Kronkosky Place played host to a Rodeo Roundup and Dance Friday night that served as a fundraiser for Kronkosky Place. The event featured dinner, dancing and other enjoyable activities.
