Boerne ISD announces 2022 Athletic Hall of Honor class

The Boerne Independent School District has named the Athletic Hall of Honor Class of 2022 inductees. This year’s recipients are Bradley Suttle (baseball), Jeff Voight (basketball), Matt Toohey (golf), Jaclyn (Toohey) Yarbrough (volleyball) and Marla (Troester) McDonald (golf), as well as Harry Fish earning the Bill Canavan Memorial Benefactor Award.

Cow Creek moves into Stage 3 drought

Kendall County’s groundwater district has moved the unincorporated areas of the county into Stage 3 drought conditions as water levels continue to drop and water ceases to fall from the sky, leaving the area in drought conditions of historic proportion.

Boerne Noon Rotary Club members spent early Tuesday morning putting up American flags along Main Street and other downtown areas in observance of Flag Day, which was June 14. Annual Pride Walk aims to help send message

A founder of the local chapter of Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays and Touchstone Community Church pastor said the group’s efforts in Boerne – including the 5th annual Boerne Pride Walk last Saturday – are leading to positive change for local members of the LGBTQ community. But she said there’s still work to be done.
