Kendall Leininger, who just graduated from Boerne Area Christian Homeschoolers, competed at the World Triathlon Championships in Hamburg, Germany, July 14-16. Leininger qualified for the USA Team last year and went to Germany to compete for the United States.

Boerne High, Comfort and Providence opened their 2023 volleyball seasons Tuesday at Greyhound Gym as all three teams played matches against each other.

Boerne High graduated seven seniors from last year’s varsity volleyball team and head coach Tisha Pettibon said it’s fair to call 2023 a rebuilding year, but Pettibon added that every year is a rebuilding year to her.

The high school volleyball season starts this week and teams from Boerne Champion, Boerne High, Geneva School of Boerne will be in action.
