Twenty-three brave Tapatio Springs golfers played in the Men’s Golf Association first tournament of the year on a cold January day with winds blowing in ahead of an expected deep freeze before the tourney. This tournament format was a quota or stableford “play your own ball” where individual players play to their handicap against par.
