The Greyhounds picked up an insurance run in the top of the seventh after Hill walked to start the frame. Hendrix was hit by a pitch to move Walker to second. An intentional walk to load the bases backfired on the Bulldogs after they walked Ryan Hooper. The next batter, Jackson Grimes, was unintentionally walked, to score Hill and Boerne was leading 6-4.
