Recently, Gov. Greg Abbott announced a wildfire disaster declaration for about 75% of the state’s counties and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration also released an updated hurricane season outlook that includes a 70% chance of 14-21 named storms before the season ends in November.

Every year the Patrick Heath Public Library organizes the Boerne Book Festival as its signature event. The 2023 festival will be held on Saturday, Oct. 7 at Main Plaza and we have another stellar lineup planned.

School is back in session, and here at The Cibolo Center of Conservation, staff and volunteers are working on ways we can help enrich students’ education.
