Arts Calendar Of Events

While you are out and about, we encourage you to visit The Gallery at the Patrick Heath Public Library through Jan. 27, to contemplate the expressionistic images of Julie Majek; 451 N. Main St., Boerne. HCCArts Mini Workshops 2024 have been announced. Our fine arts mini workshops on Saturdays are designed to provide hands-on instruction in a medium or style of painting without a huge investment in supplies. Register today for any one workshop, or all in the first of the year series: 

• Julie Majek, Introduction to Expressionism, Jan. 20, 10 a.m. to 1p.m. 
• Shea Daniel-Youngblood, Basics of Perspective two parts, Feb. 3 and Feb. 10, 9:30 a.m. to noon. 
• Maren Phillips, Introduction to Color Theory, Feb. 17, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bring a bag lunch. 
• Pauly Tamez, Introduction to Oils/Landscape: Brush and Knife; and Intermediate Oils/Landscape. March dates to be announced. Class size limited.
