The Geneva School of Boerne girls basketball is playing in the TAPPS 5A girls state tournament in Waco starting Friday.
Comfort High was able to get in two games at last week’s Three Rivers Softball Tournament before it was called because of the weather, but the Deer won both to stay undefeated this year.

Boerne High’s Landon Murphy recently signed a national letter of intent to continue his soccer career at Hardin-Simmons University. Landon was part of Boerne’s state championship soccer team last year and was named the boys 4A state tournament MVP.
Boerne Champion’s Kate Williams recently signed a national letter of intent to run cross country and track at Abilene Christian University.
The Champion track and field team opened its 2022 season at the Northside ISD meet where the varsity girls finished with 126 points for 2nd and the boys were 3rd with 132 points.
