Boerne High stayed undefeated in district boys soccer after the Greyhounds whipped Wimberley Tuesday on the road, 5-0.
It’s Boerne’s fifth straight shutout in 26-4A and improves them to 8-0 in district and 16-2-1 overall. The Hounds host Davenport on Friday.
BHS has won its last five matches by a combined score of 36-0. They have six shutouts in district after taking care of Fred to open league play on Feb. 8 and they’ve only surrendered 3 goals in eight district matches.
One of those teams that scored on the Hounds was Wimberley in the first round but Boerne still won that match, 10-2.
On Tuesday, the Texans couldn’t get on the board.
Sam Theiss had the hot foot and finished with a hat trick plus-1 after he tallied four goals, while Landon Murphy added the other.
Jake Herman recorded 2 assists, while Hudson Stevens and Joe Ballenger both and single assists in the match.
