Boerne Champion played two district softball games this week, and while they struggled at times, the Lady Chargers managed to win both games.

Antonian made Tuesday’s non-district baseball game against Boerne interesting, at least early on, and jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first, but those would be the only runs the Indians would account for in the contest.

Champion hosted Kerrville Tivy on Tuesday for a girls district soccer match and the Lady Chargers scored a late goal to tie the Lady Antlers and avoid the loss.

A total of seven Boerne ISD football players were named all-state by the Texas Sports Writer’s Association.

Champion’s Maximus Cavazos recently signed a letter of intent to golf at Midland College.

Cornerstone used the long ball to defeat the Boerne High softball team Wednesday evening in a non-district contest.
