Whenever Boerne High plays Wimberley in most sports it’s usually a good match up and Tuesday’s district girls basketball game between the Lady Greyhounds and Lady Texans started out that way.
The Geneva boys basketball team faced off against the Texas School for the Deaf and walked away with an impressive victory, 86-29.
Boerne Champion was on the road Tuesday afternoon to kick off the 2023 girls soccer season. The Lady Chargers were at Clemens and picked up a 2-0 shutout win over the Lady Buffs to start the season at 1-0.
The Comfort Cats traveled to Hondo on Tuesday to take on Hondo and fell to the Owls, 71-57.

The Geneva School of Boerne girls basketball team breezed in its district opener Wednesday. The Lady Eagles took on Texas School for the Deaf and won, 71-14.
The Comfort girls basketball team hosted Hondo on Tuesday and lost by 10 points in their final tune-up before district play begins.
The Boerne Champion girls team passed on this year’s Boerne ISD Tournament and instead played at the Wimberley Hoopsfest where the Lady Chargers advanced all the way to the championship game.

The Geneva School of Boerne girls basketball team won its first three games at its own tournament and advanced to the finals before falling in the championship tilt.
The Comfort boys basketball has been busy and played five games last week. The Bobcats took on South San West Campus and then played in the Luling Tournament where they thumped out a few wins.
