Boerne off to best start in program history at 8-O

The Geneva School of Boerne opened district play Friday at home and blew out Corpus Christi John Paul II on homecoming night, 56-7.

The Comfort High football team picked up a big win Friday on the road helping its playoff chances after the Bobcats defeated Dilley, 34-20.

The Boerne Champion football team had a hard time getting its offense going on Friday when the Chargers visited district favorite Smithson Valley.

The Boerne Independent School District inducted the Athletic Hall of Honor Class of 2022 last Friday at a luncheon at The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch.

The Boerne Champion girls golf team played at the annual Swing for the Cure golf tournament and helped raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness.

The Tapatio Springs Men’s Golf Association held its monthly event recently. The format was 2-man Quota. Each player’s quota is computed as 36 less their handicap.

The Lady Chargers are back – back in the playoffs that is – after the Champion volleyball team clinched a postseason berth Tuesday at Pieper.

The Comfort volleyball hosted the Florence Lady Buffaloes on Tuesday night and came away with a fourset victory despite being without the services of senior outside hitter Meghan Davis due to an ankle injury.
