Our library is honored to welcome Don Tate on Saturday, April 29, 10:30 a.m. for a highly engaging and entertaining presentation.

Risky play is a trend making its way across the country, but it sounds dangerous. Why would educators embrace this teaching practice with such enthusiasm? There are many reasons. Risky play is beneficial for the physical, emotional, and intellectual development of children and can contribute to their success in school and beyond.

Each year during the month of April, the city teams up with various businesses and individuals to bring a variety of health and wellness tips and programs to the public.

An Encaustic Masterclass-- all new classes offered year-long online, and featuring 26 of the world’s best Encaustic and Mixed Media teachers, including friend and artist, Lyn Belisle; twelve of whom are new to the program.

Though the official start of Spring is not until March 20th, the signs of the season change have begun to sprout all around us.
