Boerne Champion visited MacArthur Tuesday night for a non-district volleyball match and struggled against the Lady Brahmas.

The Boerne High tennis program opened its 2023 season Tuesday at home against S.A. Johnson to start the year.

SAN ANTONIO – The Champion boys and girls water polo teams both opened their 2023 seasons by playing in the Northside Waterpalooza tournament held last Friday and Saturday in San Antonio and each Charger squad went undefeated to start the year at 6-0.

The fall team tennis season opened last weekend for one Boerne ISD team and was supposed to begin for another BISD squad but didn’t.

Geneva School of Boerne volleyball opened its 2023 season with a road trip to Ft. Worth to participate in the Spikedown Tournament last weekend.

The Comfort High volleyball team advanced all the way to the championship match at the Natalia Tournament last weekend before the Deer ended up second.

Boerne High was entered in its first volleyball tournament of the new year last weekend when the Lady Greyhounds played in the Northeast/Northside tourney.

Boerne Champion continued its volleyball season last weekend by playing at the Bev Ball Tournament in Abilene.

Kendall Leininger, who just graduated from Boerne Area Christian Homeschoolers, competed at the World Triathlon Championships in Hamburg, Germany, July 14-16. Leininger qualified for the USA Team last year and went to Germany to compete for the United States.

Boerne High, Comfort and Providence opened their 2023 volleyball seasons Tuesday at Greyhound Gym as all three teams played matches against each other.
