The high school girls basketball season is underway and so is the swim season.
Girls Basketball
Champion tipped off noon Saturday at Liberty Hill to open its 2023-24 season. After that, the Lady Chargers visit San Antonio to take on Marshall at Harlan High School on Tuesday before playing in the Rouse tournament next weekend.
Boerne High opens its year in Castroville to take on Medina Valley Tuesday, Nov 7 at 7 p.m. The Lady Hounds host Alamo Heights on Friday, 6:30 p.m.
The Comfort girls begin the new year Tuesday at Nueces Canyon with a 6:15 p.m. tip off. They’ll also host Harper next Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
Geneva School of Boerne begins its girls hoops season Tuesday, Nov. 7, at Mason, 6:15 p.m., and then hosts TMI Episcopal Thursday, 6:15 p.m.
Swim
The Charger swim team opened its season this weekend at the David Johnson Fall Classic at John Davis Natatorium in S.A., while the Greyhounds are scheduled to open their season next weekend at the NEISD Last Chance TISCA meet at Davis Natatorium.
