Both the Geneva School of Boerne basketball teams opened the 2022 season last week with solid victories. Both continue their seasons this week.

Take third straight district title Friday night, winning 42-3

Boerne Champion Coach Keith Kaiser closed out the “greatest 10 years of my life” in spectacular fashion, leading the Chargers to a 56-31 victory over MacArthur, Friday at Heroes Stadium.

Better late than never for the Comfort football team.

First place was on the line Thursday night in TAPPS District 3 – III when the Geneva School of Boerne football team visited San Antonio for a game with Holy Cross.

The Boerne High football team had plenty to celebrate on Friday night. First, the Greyhounds defeated Fredericksburg to earn this year’s district title – their third in a row – something which has never been done before at Boerne High School. Boerne also finishes the year at 10-0 to record the school’s first perfect regular season.

After 10 seasons of leading the Boerne Champion football team, Keith Kaiser is stepping away from the position.

Geneva School of Boerne’s volleyball player Ella Grace Owens recorded the 1,000th assist of her Eagles career and what’s impressive about the achievement is that Owens is just a freshman. Owens hit the milestone in Tuesday’s playoff match against Houston Cypress Christian School.

Boerne Champion had a tough draw to open the 2022 volleyball playoffs and faced No. 5 state-ranked Rouse Tuesday in Dripping Springs.
