Billie Jo (Peel) Bergmann passed away on May 28, 2022. She was born in Rochester, Texas, to a large family with 12 siblings.

Nicholas Quaid Pedrotti, beloved son, brother, cousin, grandson and friend to so many, has left us to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was born into the loving family of Joyce and Dan Pedrotti Jr. on November 5, 1993, in Phoenix, Arizona. He and his family moved back to Texas in 1996 and built their home in Boerne, Texas, with the hope that their beautiful boys would grow and prosper in a small town community.

Virginia “Ginny” Ann Lamberton was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her class, charm, and humor could light up any room. She left this world peacefully on April 13, 2022, and will be greatly missed.

The parents of Comfort High School’s Class of 2022 served as hosts to Project Graduation on May 27 in Waring. The overnight event took place as a continuation of CHS’s graduation as members of the Class of 2022 swam, fished, played a variety of games, enjoyed music from DJ Bump and won more than $10,000 worth of prizes. The second concert of Comfort’s Music in the Park series will feature regional singer Camille Sanders and will take place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, at Comfort Park.

The Boerne American Legion Post 313 and Boerne VFW Post 688 are playing host to an inaugural event honoring Texas women veterans at 1 p.m. Sunday at Veterans Plaza, 801 S. Main St.

LAW ENFORCEMENT

The fifth annual Boerne Pride Walk is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday beginning at the Patrick Heath Public Library Amphitheater. The walk is a Pride Month event. Sponsors are PFLAG-Boerne, Touchstone Community Church and Kaleidoscope Hearts.
