Geneva School of Boerne recognizes the most outstanding teachers of the year with the Paideia Award. (“Paideia” is Greek for “education”). This award is made possible in part thanks to Texas Heritage Bank. This year, Rhetoric School teacher Brian Odom, Logic School teacher Morgan Brown and Grammar School teacher Tonya Fikes were selected by their peers to receive this esteemed award. The Paideia Awards were awarded by Interim Head of School Debbie Ledoux at the school’s Closing Assembly.

JOURDANTON - Three Boerne ISD teams were in action last weekend and all three played in Jourdanton.

With Memorial Day weekend in the rearview mirror and the start of summer upon us, it means that Texans will be heading out to the water a lot more and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) urges boaters and paddlers who enjoy water recreation to do their part to protect the Texas lakes we love from aquatic invasive species.
