Calling all sixth graders! Animal Care Services is excited to host the first-ever Boerne Animal Academy this summer. The camp will be held over three Saturdays in June and is open to Boerne students entering sixth grade in the fall.
Each Saturday features a different topic for kids to learn about pet and animal ownership, care, and more. See the full schedule below.
June 10 | 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Topic: Wildlife Education presented by Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation of Kendalia June 17 | 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Topic: Pet Safety and Care presented by local veterinarians June 24 | 2 – 3:30 p.m. Topic: Exotic Animals with camp graduation and snacks afterwards All sessions will be held at the Boerne Police Department Training Room, located at 124 Old San Antonio Road.
