The annual Kendall County Junior Livestock Show took place at the youth agriculture and equestrian center during the first week in January as hundreds of local 4H and FFA youth showed their best animals during the various shows and competitions. The cattle were in the spotlight toward the end of the week as Bailey Fischer (Bib 156) works her Brahman to keep it in line as she paraded around the arena before Addison Page patiently waited behind her Hereford variety for the judges to finish. The ceremony took place before the sale at the Kendall County Youth Agriculture and Equestrian Center. The Kendall County Jr. Livestock Show Association provides an opportunity for 4-H and FFA members to exhibit their livestock projects before the public fostering excellence in livestock production skills and practices.
