The custodial death report for the fatal shooting of Brandon Cruz by Boerne Police Department Cpl. Cheyenne Weber was released late last month, offering more insight into the events that took place Feb. 21.

The Cana Ballroom was abuzz with more than 250 educators, administrators, local and San Antonio officials and guests as the Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce hosted the annual Boerne Independent School District State of the District luncheon Thursday.

The ever-changing and complicated development on the 344-acre lot at 418 Ammann Road has changed names yet again, but the newest owner is making some efforts to work with Fair Oaks Ranch city officials and residents to get the property built out.

A 33-year-old Comfort resident, Andres Cervantes, was found not guilty by a jury of his peers last week for the charge of continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14 years of age.

The Boerne Concert Band performed “Musica de Primavera” Sunday night in the Boerne High School Auditorium under the direction of Larry Schmidt, above right.
