The Art Waddle, Boerne’s premier community art show and sale, will take place on Saturday, May 14, with full day of activities from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and a meet the artist kickoff party slated for Friday, May 13, from 4 to 7 p.m.

Geneva School of Boerne student Nicholas Siller has received this year’s Good Citizen Scholarship Award given annually by Boerne’s George W. Kendall chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. He is also the school’s valedictorian.

Well known for its unique annual Christmas compositions, Tinsel returns to sparkle during a Memorial Day Weekend concert in the Queen’s Throne Room at the Cave Without a Name, singing all new a cappella arrangements of patriotic songs mixed with pop and jazz standards. Tinsel is a quartet of professional, classically trained voices.
