Before spring break, the Champion track and field teams were in action in Somerset at the Sonny Detmer Relays where they dominated the competition and won all four divisions.

The Boerne High girls opened the postseason Thursday and defeated Georgetown Gateway 8-0 in Marble Falls.

It’s playoff time for all four Boerne ISD varsity soccer teams and all four will be in action later this week.

The Champion baseball team was facing Wagner on Friday for the second time in a week and while the Chargers rolled past the Thunderbirds in the first game last Tuesday, 13-0, things got a lot tougher in last Friday’s second meeting.

The softball teams from Boerne Champion and Kerrville Tivy were engaged in a defensive struggle last Thursday when the Hill Country rivals met for a district game at Antler Field.

Boerne High opened district 27-4A softball action last Friday afternoon in Bandera and breeze by the Bulldogs, 14-0, in five innings of work.
