JOHNSON CITY, Texas -- Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC) is accepting applications for community grants and encourages nonprofits within or surrounding PEC’s service territory to apply for the grants, granted for up to $5,000.

The first Kendall County Fair was held in Boerne, Texas in 1905. Communication in that day and age was very limited so it was imperative that a central meeting be held at least annually so the people of the area would have a chance to exchange ideas, recipes and news of events.
