The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff ’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. AUGUST 09
12:30 a.m., 800 block of Johns Road – A caller reported a domestic disturbance between the caller’s neighbor and his girlfriend, involving the girlfriend screaming and crying. The caller noted this had been an ongoing issue. Law enforcement contacted the individual involved and the male was detained and taken into custody.
9:39 a.m., 1200 block of S. Main St.– An employee reported a code written down on a drainpipe. The caller did note it may just be graffiti.
12:23 p.m., 800 block of Johns Road – A caller reported two females screaming at each other. A second caller reported the incident and explained it was a mother and daughter.
1:38 p.m., 600 block of S. School St. – A caller reported a vehicle with up to three occupants had been intermittently staying in the parking lot for the previous four weeks.
2:12 p.m., 600 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller reported a male and female with two children were soliciting at the entrance of the building. The caller said it was an ongoing issue and had seen them at other locations.
AUGUST 10
11:21 a.m., 200 block of Maxwell Drive – A caller reported her ex-husband was threatening her via text message.
3:32 p.m., 500 block of Oak Park Drive – An employee reported her phone had been stolen while she was at work.
5:09 p.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A caller reported a fight between two juvenile females that had occurred the previous night.
7:44 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road – A manager reported a woman with a baby in front of one of the store entrances, asking for money. They had been asked to leave but remained there.
8:21 p.m., 31000 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported her wallet had been stolen. Although it was returned, items were missing. The caller was concerned about identity theft.
AUGUST 11
6:11 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller reported an odd interaction with a woman. The woman came up to the caller to ask for directions. She then gave the caller a picture of her daughter and asked the caller to pray for her.
8:06 p.m., 400 block of Live Oak St. -- A caller reported her husband had tried to forcibly remove her from a building on their property. The caller said the husband had twisted her arm in order to get the phone out of her hand. The caller was not in the county and the call was transferred to the correct jurisdiction.
8:48 p.m., 200 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller reported three vehicles loitering and doing donuts in the parking lot.
AUGUST 12
9:57 a.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A woman reported her ex-husband was harassing her and her son via text message.
11:27 a.m., 100 block of Enterprise Parkway – A large goat was roaming, looking for fun Saturday morning activity.
11:57 a.m. 200 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller walked into a restaurant and was concerned about a male who had a gun and was talking to himself. Law enforcement found the male was a wanted man, on parole for burglary. He was detained and taken into custody.
4:33 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main St. – An employee reported having video evidence of a theft totaling $3,810. The employee turned the video footage over to law enforcement.
5:30 p.m., 200 block of Brackenridge St.– A caller reported that a landscaping crew had unexpectedly showed up at the caller’s house. The caller was concerned because they were not scheduled, and it was only his wife and kids at the house.
7:54 p.m., 300 block of Esser Road – A caller reported two people in a verbal argument. Even after the people had gotten into their respective vehicles, they continued arguing and yelling at each other.
AUGUST 13
12:38 a.m., 100 block of Esselmont – A caller was worried after hearing loud booms and then a female yelling. The caller was unable to determine what the female was saying.
2:22 a.m., 1000 block of Diamond Drive – A caller reported a vehicle with its hazard lights on, but no one in the vehicle. The vehicle was backed into the parking spot.
2:49 a.m., at Hampton Place/I-10 – A caller reported a pickup appeared to have been in an accident. The caller said there was an unconscious male in the passenger seat who had lacerations on his face. An ambulance was contacted to provide medical services.
8:52 a.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller reported a male who had physically hurt a toddler. The male jerked the child’s arm and spanked him. The child went under the table and the male kicked him and then hit the child in the face when came out from under the table.
2:31 p.m., 34000 block of W. I-10 – A caller requested assistance in escorting a guest out of the establishment. The caller told dispatch that this was a recurring issue with the individual.
AUGUST 14
12:33 a.m., 500 block of Oak Park Drive– A caller reported hearing seven or eight gunshots. Two other callers reported hearing the gunshots, each providing where they suspected the shots were coming from. Law enforcement checked the area but were not able to find anything.
3:42 a.m., 200 block of Lohmann St. – A caller reported a female had come outside and threatened the caller with a knife. The caller said the female also took some pictures, and informed dispatch that the caller’s husband knew the female.
3:08 p.m., 31000 block of E. I-10 – A caller reported a male who was going a mere 5 mph. A second caller reported the male was driving in reverse on the road. Law enforcement drove through the area but did not see anything suspicious.
5:28 p.m., on Scenic Loop – A goat was reportedly loose, looking for a way to beat the heat.
6:22 p.m., 35000 block of W. I-10 – An employee reported seeing two males who were looking around an 18-wheeler that was not theirs.
AUGUST 15
8:46 a.m., 1300 block of S. Main St. – A caller reported someone was outside the building the previous evening. The caller said the male had been there a week earlier. The caller suspected the male had taken pictures of the store’s hours to see when no one would be at the location.
12:01 p.m., 600 block of W. Bandera St. – A caller reported someone had stolen tools from the back of his truck while he was inside the store.
12:21 p.m., 400 block of N. Plant Ave. – A caller reported two males had been sitting in a parked vehicle for 45 minutes.
12:57 p.m., Staudt St. – A female reported someone had stolen her identification information.
3:51 p.m., 800 block of Johns Road – A caller reported receiving a note with inappropriate content in her mailbox.
7:38 p.m., 33000 block of W. I-10 – A stolen vehicle was pinging in Boerne. A male and female were found to be in the vehicle and were both subsequently detained.

AUGUST 09
10:43 a.m., 1000 block of S. Hwy. 87 – A caller reported his cell phone was stolen. The caller provided the location where he thought he had left the phone; however, he was more concerned someone had obtained his information and was harassing him.
1: 10 p. m. , 100 block of Idlewilde Blvd. – A caller reported witnessing someone illegally hooking up to a fire hydrant.
3:26 p.m., 200 block of Holiday Road – A caller reported a male driver had followed the caller onto her property. The caller had spoken with the male who explained he was looking for a certain church in Kerrville. The caller expressed concern because the male seemed confused
and was older.
5:46 p.m., 100 block of Indian Knoll Drive – A resident was concerned about a sick-looking porcupine that was wandering around the resident’s backyard.
9:38 p.m., mile marker 534, W. I-10 – Law enforcement pursued a vehicle with blacked–out license plates. At some point during the pursuit, an individual was held at gunpoint. The male was apprehended and taken into custody. His vehicle required a wrecker.
AUGUST 10
6:03 a.m., mile marker 530, W. I- 10 – A driver reported witnessing a rollover accident involving a single vehicle. A second caller reported there were three occupants, all of whom had gotten out of the vehicle. Two of the occupants reported experiencing head pain. A tow truck was called for the vehicle.
8: 57 a. m., 1600 block of S. Main St. – An accident resulted in one of the occupant’s legs being numb. EMS services were provided, and a tow truck was called for the vehicle.
1:20 p.m., on Seewald Road – A caller reported a vehicle had been parked on the side of the road since earlier that morning. The caller said he suspected the same vehicle had been parked in a different section of the road the prior day.
4:32 p.m., 4900 block of Grape Creek Road -- A caller reported a bag containing drug paraphernalia and a loaded gun had been dumped on his property.
7:38 p.m., 200 block of Sixth St. – A caller reported a driver was flipping off the caller and threatening her. The caller said during the encounter, the driver had switched vehicles and had stopped in front of the caller’s house to flip her off.
7:49 p.m., N. on Hwy. 87 – An employee’s vehicle was damaged. It appeared someone had attempted to break into the vehicle earlier that afternoon but was unsuccessful.
AUGUST 11
4:54 a.m., on Joe Klar Road/ Hwy 46 E. – A caller reported a vehicle appeared to be blocking the turnaround area of the road. The caller said the driver got out and began walking around. Law enforcement found the driver, who was waiting on a contractor for access to a job site.
9: 16 a. m., on Old No. 9 – A woman requested assistance with killing a rattlesnake that had gotten into her chicken coop.
3:50 p.m., mile marker 533, W. I-10 – A woman reported a dark vehicle with no license plates was driving behind her.
7: 30 p. m., 400 block of W. Hwy. 46 – A hit-and-run accident occurred. A caller reported that a pickup had hit the caller’s vehicle, resulting in the side mirror coming off. The truck drove off and continued on 46.
8:55 p.m., 100 block of Cravey Road – A caller was worried when he heard a dog barking in the area and then proceeded to hear a gunshot. The caller told dispatch that the dog whined for a bit before going totally silent.
9: 36 a. m., on FM 1376/ Nollkamper – A caller reported being in an accident involving a deer. The vehicle suffered substantial front- end damage, with multiple airbags being deployed. The driver reported experiencing stomach pain and EMS was contacted.
3: 00 p. m., 800 block of FM 289 – A caller reported a truck backed into another vehicle, then left the location. There was no license plate on the truck, and a witness reported the driver may have been drinking.
8:12 p.m., 100 block of Weaver Road – A caller reported his neighbor was shooting and had fired at least 10 shots in the prior 10 minutes. The caller was concerned because he was unsure where the individual was shooting and said there could be people walking around the neighborhood.
8:45 p.m., 39000 block of E. I-10 – A probable cause search was conducted after a traffic stop. The individual was taken into custody, and he began fighting with the deputies. EMS was contacted for sustained injuries and a wrecker was called for the vehicle.
11: 21 p. m., 100 block of Creekside Terrace – A caller reported an unknown vehicle parked in front of her house. The caller said she had seen a male getting in and out of the vehicle. Law enforcement contacted the male, who explained he was there to see the meteor shower.
AUGUST 13
9:27 a.m., 100 block of Jungfrau Hill Road – A resident reported a vehicle was on a neighboring property. The caller explained it was a vacant property and he wanted to make sure the vehicle was not stolen. The caller had contacted the name associated with the vehicle and the individual had said that it was not his vehicle.
9:42 a.m., mile marker 525, E. I-10 – A caller reported a vehicle driving haphazardly on the interstate. The vehicle was ranging from 50 mph to 120 mph. At the time the caller was speaking with dispatch, the vehicle was going 40 mph. Law enforcement made contact with the driver who explained they were tired but not intoxicated or otherwise impaired.
4:49 p.m., 300 block of Seven Sisters Drive – A caller reported fraudulent credit card activity. The credit card company had sent the card to the wrong address; however, it had been activated and charges had been made to the card. The caller had contacted the company and was being reimbursed.
8: 16 p. m., 400 block of N. Walnut Way – A caller reported he suspected an explosion had occurred in the area. The caller said he felt the ground and his house shake. He didn’t report seeing any smoke in the area. While on the phone, the caller reported hearing another loud noise. Law enforcement spoke with individuals in the area who said the sound may be coming from a nearby road.
AUGUST 14
7:12 a.m., 500 block of Cypress Bend Road – A caller reported that three vehicles had been broken into during the night.
10: 19 a. m., 40 block of N. Hwy. 87 – A vehicle rear-ended another vehicle. One of the drivers reported his back was hurting.
1: 31 p. m., 300 block of Los Indios Ranch Road -- A caller reported a roofer had become hostile about coming to look at the caller’s roof. The caller was not OK with them coming out.
2:24 p.m., 400 block of Bandera Road – A caller reported a male struck her husband in the chest. The caller provided dispatch with information about the male. Law enforcement was able to locate the male’s residence, but he did not appear to be there.
7:40 p.m., 500 block of Waring- Welfare Road – A longhorn had gone for an evening stroll … in the middle of the road.
AUGUST 15
1:12 p.m., on Herff Road – A caller reported hearing five consecutive gunshots approximately five minutes prior to calling. The caller provided an idea of the general area the gunshots were coming from. Law enforcement investigated but found no criminal activity.
3:49 p.m., on Hwy. 87/FM 473 – A caller reported a two-vehicle accident had occurred. There were no injuries but both vehicles were undriveable. The roadway was blocked until a tow truck came for both vehicles.
4:25 p.m., N. Hwy. 87 – A caller reported they had been involved in a hit-and-run accident the previous day. The caller’s vehicle’s bumper had been smashed on both sides. The caller explained an 18-wheeler had caught its trailer on the caller’s vehicle and then drove off.
4:27 p.m., 200 block of Poehnert Road – A caller reported he received a scam call, saying he owed $6,500 for a warrant for missing jury duty. Luckily, the caller had not fallen for the scam and no money was exchanged.
6:26 p.m., 100 block of Acker Road – A caller reported someone had stolen $3,000 worth of diesel fuel.
