Geneva School of Boerne recognizes the most outstanding teachers of the year with the Paideia Award. (“Paideia” is Greek for “education”). This award is made possible in part thanks to Texas Heritage Bank. This year, Rhetoric School teacher Brian Odom, Logic School teacher Morgan Brown and Grammar School teacher Tonya Fikes were selected by their peers to receive this esteemed award. The Paideia Awards were awarded by Interim Head of School Debbie Ledoux at the school’s Closing Assembly.

AUSTIN– Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick issued this statement today on the bipartisan final passage of House Bill 1, the 20242025 State Budget, and Senate Bill 30, the Fiscal Year 2023 Supplemental Budget, both carried by Sen. Members of the military perform an invaluable service. In volunteering to defend their nation and even vulnerable individuals across the globe, military members safeguard a way of life that enables millions of people to fulfill their potential and live happy, productive lives.

Summer unofficially starts with the arrival of Memorial Day at the end of May. Although it is a holiday designed to honor American military personnel who have died in various wars, it also serves double-duty as a chance to gather with friends and loved ones and enjoy the return of the warm-weather entertaining season.
