A new year, Asian style

The Asian or Lunar New Year, which gets underway February 1, was celebrated in style on Saturday morning at the Patrick Heath Public Library as a traditional dragon dance and the Chinese Culture Performance Association of San Antonio enterained a welcoming audience. The dragon dance was led by members of the Boerne chapter of the Young Men’s Service League and the Boerne chapter of the National Charity League as they paraded the celebratory dragon around the library and city hall property, including along Main Street, before heading inside the library to the Community Room.
