Despite losing ground comparing the 2020-21 school year to the prior year as far as academics are concerned, Boerne Independent School District students in most cases are faring better than their Region 20 and state counterparts.

Members of the Alamo Kountry Kickers rode into Boerne on horseback this past Sunday as part of a trail ride associated with the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo that got underway this week.

Kendall County voters can begin casting ballots for the March 1 primary election on Monday as early voting for both local Republicans and Democrats begins on February 14 and runs through February 25.

As you know, inflation heated up in 2021, following years of pretty stable – and low – numbers. And now, early in 2022, we’re still seeing elevated prices. As a consumer, you may need to adjust your activities somewhat, but as an investor, how should you respond to inflation?

Beginning Friday night, the Texas Department of Transportation is scheduled to close both directions of Interstate 10 from Highway 46 to Highway 87 in Kendall County as crews demolish the existing Highway 46 bridge.

The Hill Country Mile resembled an icy ghost town throughout the day last Thursday before showing signs of life again on Friday as inclement winter weather invaded the area and officials across the state urged residents to stay home. However, Kendall County and its encompassed cities fared well compared to last year’s February storm.
