The Boerne Parks and Recreation Department played host to its annual Easter egg hunt this past Saturday at Boerne City Lake. Hundreds of children, and their parents and guardians, showed up to take part in the fun. 

The Boerne Independent School District’s Career and Technical Education program’s goal is to prepare students with technical, academic and employability skills for success in the workplace and in further education.

As rainfall basically has ceased in the county during the past several months, with numbers to date falling below those before the historic 2011 and 1954 droughts, the Cow Creek Groundwater Conservation District has moved into Stage 2 drought, introducing new water use restrictions.

In preparation for Easter this Sunday, the city of Boerne Parks and Recreation Department is updating its list of prohibited activities at Boerne City Lake Park.
