Kianna Elizabeth Adams, the mother driving the 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe that flipped on Interstate 10 last week that resulted in the death of her 4-year-old daughter, Starr Adams, and serious injury to two younger children, has been charged with three felony counts, including a second-degree manslaughter charge for the death of her daughter.

Park Palmore, a 52-year-old Adkins, Texas, resident, was sentenced to two life sentences in state prison last week for shooting at and injuring a Kendall County Sheriff’s deputy in April 2020.

The Boerne Independent School District late last month announced its 2022 teacher and support staff member of the year winners. The district teacher of the year is Jenny Breuer from Champion High School, while the district support staffer of the year is Boerne Middle School South’s Zulema King.
