During discussions about the proclamation, it was announced that HCFS, the Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce and Kendall County Giving Connections worked together to have local nonprofits recognized by both the county and the city of Boerne. Several representatives from the leading organizations and the numerous nonprofits lined the Kendall County Commissioners courtroom during the presentation. The city of Boerne will have a similar proclamation ceremony at 9 a.m. Friday at city hall.
