Six months after its creation, a multicounty task force involving the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies is seeing plenty of action, including stopping human trafficking.

Nearly 80 students from Champion and Boerne high schools have earned academic honors from the College Board National Recognition Programs. These National Recognition Programs grant underrepresented students with academic honors that can be included on college and scholarship applications and connect students with universities across the country, helping them meaningfully connect to colleges and stand out during the admissions process.

Kerrville, TX –Expanding Your Horizons – A Career Conference in science and math for sixth-, seventh- and eighth- grade girls will take place 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 15 at Schreiner University.

From keg throwing to stein holding to beer tasting, Bierfest kicked off last weekend. The event is held at the Agricultural Museum and Arts Center and helps fundraise for the Hill Country Council for the Arts.

BOERNE – A YouTube influencer chronicling his outdoor adventures including cleaning up River Road Park is encouraging more young people to pitch in and help beautify natural areas.

BOERNE – City staff and officials, along with several area partners, met Sept. 20 for a safety planning meeting ahead of two solar eclipses set to occur in the Hill Country over the next couple years.
