The Boerne ISD summer sports camps started this week with boys basketball and softball that started Tuesday and ended Friday.

BEEVILLE – Boerne had a fast start in its best-of-three series with Calallen in Game 1 at Beeville, tallying 3 runs in its first at bat, but the Wildcats scored in five of the next six innings and went on to defeat the Greyhounds, 12-6.

Boerne High student Layla Weaks will be travelling to Abilene to compete in the Texas High School Rodeo Association State Finals being held June 6-11.

The old saying that “to the victor goes the spoils” seems to be true especially for the state champion Boerne High boys soccer team.

Boerne High’s Ashley Clingman recently signed a letter of intent with the Texas A&M University track and field team where she will throw the shot put. 

Champion’s Annmarie Rose signed a letter of intent to become part of the TCU cheer squad.
