The Boerne Independent School District Communications Department and the Boerne Education Foundation won 14 statewide awards from the Texas School Public Relations Association. The awards were presented at the 2022 TSPRA Conference at the end of February.

The Boerne Sunrise Rotary Club and the Rotary Interact Club of the Winston School throw an annual party for more than 90 children in the Shady Rest Mobile Home Park in Boerne. Rotary President Steve Artale said, “We noticed the playground area was in poor condition, and we have been working to rectify that.
