SAN ANTONIO – Boerne High recently competed at the Region IV-4A meet and both Greyhound varsity squads finished in the top 7.

The Geneva School of Boerne swim team was in action at the TAPPS Central Regional meet in San Antonio recently and had several swimmers qualify for state after their strong performances.

Charger swimmers sweep regional titles

The Boerne High girls soccer team won its last two games and didn’t allow a goal in either victory.

After a road victory Thursday at Pieper, the Lady Chargers basketball team needed just one more win or a Kerrville Tivy loss on Friday to secure the No. 2 seed in district.

The Geneva School of Boerne girls basketball team won its first two games of their district tournament held Friday and Saturday.

Boerne High is still perfect in District 27-4A boys basketball and closing in on another district title after the Greyhounds earned victories over Navarro and Canyon Lake last week.

Because of the bad weather that hit the Hill Country early last week, the Boerne Champion girls soccer team had to play two matches about 16 hours apart and it was mixed results for the Lady Chargers after they won one and lost the other.

The recent winter storm that hit the area last week forced the Geneva boys basketball team to have a back loaded week of games.

Boerne High picked up two wins last week against Navarro and Canyon Lake to remain unbeaten in 27-4A girls basketball and set up a showdown with Fredericksburg on Tuesday.

The Boerne Champion boys basketball team continues to jockey for position in District 26-5A as the season heads down the stretch run.
