Deer close out 1st round of district volleyball

The Comfort volleyball team closed out the first round of district volleyball at Llano and suffered a five-set loss.

It was a tough setback for the Deer after they won the first two sets but dropped the last three.

The Yellowjackets stung Comfort, 21-25, 23-25, 30-28, 25-23, 15-11.

With the loss the Deer fall to 2-3 in District 5-3A play and 14-11-1 overall. They traveled to Florence last Friday to begin second-round action by hosting Harper Tuesday.
