Charles Douglas Baker passed away at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022, at his home in Boerne, TX. Doug was born in Lumberton, North Carolina, to Charles Vernon and Dale (Weaver) Baker. He was a retired business owner and a veteran of the United States Navy. He was also a pilot, motorcyclist and dog lover. He is survived by his wife, Andrea L. Baker; three sons, Brandan A. Thomas Patrick Mitchell, age 78, of Boerne, Texas, passed away on Oct. 10, 2022. His viewing will be on Friday, Oct. 21, 2022, at 6 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Holt and Holt Funeral Home, at 319 East San Antonio Avenue, Boerne, Texas 78006. Funeral Services will be held at 12 p.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church at 202 West Kronkosky Street, Boerne, Texas 78006, with a meal to follow at the Cana Ballroom at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.

Charlotte Gail Mashburn, age 75, a longtime resident of Boerne, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in the early morning hours of Oct. 12, 2022. Charlotte died peacefully in her home of unknown causes.

Mary “Emily” Stafford died peacefully in her home with family on Oct. 18, 2022, at the age of 82. Emily was born in Edmund, Oklahoma, on Feb. 23, 1940. She was adopted at birth by Kyle and Lillian “Monte” (Montgomery) Stone and raised in Sherman, Texas. Emily was a singularly charismatic lady who lived a rich, adventurous and fulfilling life.

Our sweet mother, Ginger (Gigi) Merritt, 81, embraced by the loving touch and sweet voices of her precious family, passed into the perfect love and healing arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Oct. 11, 2022, after a courageous 12-year struggle with Parkin- son’s Disease.

Jason Davis Schuchardt passed away on Monday, Oct. 17, 2022, at the age of 39 from complications of a serious car accident in 2008. Jason was born in San Antonio, Texas, to Ronald and Constance (Davis) Schuchardt. He attended Boerne High School followed by his enrollment into Hallmark Tech School in San Antonio. He later joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served his country for four years. Jason is survived by his parents; his brother, Nathan (Jennifer); his two nieces, Lilly and Schuchardt Daisy; a half-brother, Ron Hall (Stacy); half-sister, Jennifer Hall; and nephew, Jake Hall.

Dorothy Ann Van Gerpen Davidson went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2022. She was born in Fremont, Nebraska, on Sept. 2, 1933.

Emmie Kronkosky, age 87, passed away peacefully in Houston on Oct. 5, 2022 after a brief illness. Emmie (Emma) Joann Harz was born on Jan. 17, 1935 in Boerne, Texas, to Herbert and Edna Harz. She grew up in this small German heritage town in the Hill Country. She is a fifth generation of Boerne and is the youngest of four children, including Maxine Selma Meckel, Dorothy Lee Sueltenfuss, and Raye Janice Peter.
