Boerne High visited Smithson Valley for a girls basketball game and picked up a district road win over the Lady Rangers.
The Lady Greyhounds were letting it fly from the outside and knocked down 10 3-pointers to hit double digits in all four quarters on their way to a 64-26 victory.
BHS is 2-2 in district and 8-9 overall. The Lady Hounds hosted Boerne Champion Saturday at noon for their firstever meeting.
Chloe Donnell led the 3-point barrage for the Lady Greyhounds after she went 6 for 7 from beyond the arch on her way to 27 points.
Savannah Salinas nailed two 3s and tallied 18 points, while Addison Saur hit a 3 for her only points of the game.
Melia Gonzalez netted 6 points, Oleyvia Ramos added 4 points, Meredith Mcleod, JT Hernandez and Jenna Ruede all chipped in with 2 points.
Ruede added 11 assists and 4 steals to her 2 points, Ramos recorded 8 steals and Donnell came up with 6 steals as the team finished with 27 steals in the game.
When Boerne wasn’t dropping in 3s, they went 13 for 27 from 2-point range and scored 24 points in the paint.
