Bruss paces Geneva boys with career-high 33 points

The Geneva School of Boerne boys basketball team was back on the hardwood this past Tuesday taking on Stacey High School in Boerne.

The Eagles were tested early when Stacey jumped out to a 7-1 lead in the first two minutes of the game, but Geneva righted the ship and won, 68-44.

After falling behind 7-1, Geneva outscored Stacey by 30 points over the next 26 minutes.

Stacey only trailed by two points going into halftime, 33-31.

During the second half, the Eagles came out with a defensive-mind set and only allowed 13 points in the second half while scoring 35 of its 68 points.

Wyatt Bruss scored a career high 33 points in the content.

Jake Roberson tallied 17 points, Colton Lutz added 16 and Jack Walker Harden netted 6 as the boys stayed unbeaten at 7-0.
