The Geneva School of Boerne girls basketball team remained undefeated after the Eagles defeated Mason Wednesday night at home.
Geneva claimed the 45-29 victory and is 2-0 this season. The Eagles will take a little bit of a break and aren’t back in action until Nov. 15.
Geneva dropped in a dozen points in the first two quarters for the 24-9 halftime lead.
The Eagles added 17 in the third and opened up a 41-17 advantage before Mason took the final quarter, 12-4.
Maegan Riebel led the team with 13 points and Madeline Egbert was also in double digits with 12 points.
Kyra Petty tallied 8 points, Payton Boles and Grace Detterick both netted 4, while Reese Smith and Morgan Howard dropped in 2 points apiece.
Petty and Detterick snagged 7 rebounds each, Egbert finished with 4 assists and Petty came up with 3 steals.
