Her beautiful oil painting, “Queens of the Teche” is a featured artwork, spotlighting fishing boats at harbor on Bayou Teche that are nostalgic to the writer of her home state of Louisiana.
The Teche curls for miles through south central Louisiana, west of the Atchafalaya swamp, and was the Mississippi River’s main course when it developed a delta 2,800 to 4,500 years ago.
